What happens if you do not get enough sleep?
Sleep is necessary for your body so it can rest and recover. If you sleep too little, your immune system deteriorates and you become more ill. Your metabolism will get weaker and the risk of developing obesity and diabetes increases. Brain function deteriorates and you will have difficulty to focus yourself. You will have harder to learn new things. Many researchers claim that young people are more vulnerable and need their sleep more than older people.
