We have two different rhythms in our bodies. One rhythm with a length of 24 hours and our second rhythm is 12 hours. You see 12-hour rhythm most clearly when you are awake. Our ability to deliver reach the lowest value during the afternoon and late at night. We see clearly that we are performing worse in the afternoon. During the night we can’t notice it. Many believe that the drop in alertness is because we have just eaten lunch. It helps that we have just eaten, but it does not explain everything.  Even if we do not eat lunch, we are clearly tired in the afternoon. Many combat her fatigue by drinking coffee and I can promise you that it often helps.
